    Dark Pines is a two-man shop in Arlington, WA. Bryant Hamblen designs, Wayne Brem machines, and our knives and tools are CNC machined in the shop and finished by hand.     Two people. Bryant Hamblen does the design and Wayne Brem is a specialty machinist.

    What blade steels do you use?
    It depends on the model: CPM-154 on the Widow Maker 3.5 v.2, 440C on the Skyline Fixed Blade and the Hodges blade, AEB-L on the Skyline 2.0, and Nitro-V on the Bullet (DLC coated) and the SwitchBack. Each product page lists its steel.
